What's On- November

As winter drifts in and the days become shorter and the nights become longer, we take a look at how our November shapes up.

Our own pick of the month? An obvious one but it has to be Detroit Swindle. The Dutch Duo bring their own brand of deep house to the mainfloor as part of Wildlife on Thursday 26th November.  Detroit Swindle have released music on renowned labels like Freerange, Future Classics, Dirt Crew (where they released their well received debut album ‘Boxed Out’), Tsuba, Classic Music Company, Kaoz Theory and many more. This includes notable remixes for Hercules and Love Affair, Chet Faker, Seven Davis Jr. and Romanthony’s track ‘Too Long’ produced by Daft Punk- as well as running their own label, Heist Recordings. Founded in 2013, Heist has released a host of well received EP’s from artists like Max Graef, Brame & Hamo, M.ono, Andy Hart and of course Detroit Swindle themselves.  Tracks like ‘The Wrap Around’, ‘The Break Up' and 'Figure of Speech' have become staples on dance floors worldwide, as well as reaching anthem status in Electric. Tickets are only €5 and are available from Biteclub and Resident Advisor. Not to be missed by dance music fans. See you there?

Of course Detroit Swindle isn’t the only thing happening. Other highlights include a 4hr set from John Daly on Sunday 8th November. Fresh from appearing on the Boiler Room, producing February & Mars’ new LP, starting his new Live collaboration with Limerick’s Cian Frawley AND firing out releases on his own One Trak imprint (Phew!), Daly will be resuming his residence in the Garden with a tight mix of his own brand of House and Techno.

Elsewhere? Factory’s new space has finally come into fruition. You can find it right next to the glasshouse with a lovely Funktion One system in there. Over the month you can find Get Deeper, Bap To The Future, Epoch and Hard Candy putting the system through it’s paces.

You can also enjoy all of the regulars on offer- Biteclub at street level is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Hoolie is on every Wednesday. Wildlife is on every Thursday. You can find Graham Dolan in the Garden every Friday and you’ll find entertainment across three rooms on Saturdays. Just check the calendar for details.
