Tensnake is German producer and DJ extraordinaire Marco Niemerski. Inspired by various sounds from across the musical spectrum, his own brand of deep, funky house and disco has seen him reach world-conquering heights. Although well renowned for his 2010 hit 'Coma Cat', Tensnake has captured ears and hearts alike worldwide with releases on labels like Running Back, Permanent Vacation and Defected- not to mention a collaboration with Chic’s Nile Rodgers last year. As if this weren’t enough, his impeccable DJ skills have seen him land residencies in Ibiza and numerous festivals and clubs world-wide, meaning his set on the main floor at this year’s Galway Arts Festival is going to be an unmissable occasion.

The Disconauts present the irrepressible king of Disco Daniel Wang in the Garden where he’ll be in glorious full flow with his orchestral, ecstatic, smile inducing disco fuelled sound.

DMX Krew AKA Edward Upton, has been exploring the unknown past for more than 20 years now. Having released the bulk of his material on Aphex Twin's Rephlex Records, Upton was one of the first artists to mine the like of 80s Boogie, Miami Bass, Synth Pop and Acid House to create a playful contemporary take on these electronic music staples. His Fresh Up party happens regularly in the basement of a restaurant off Brick Lane where he shares his immense knowledge of these genres by showcasing the classic cuts that have influenced his own sound.
