Electric 6th Birthday w/
Disconauts (Main Room)

Epoch w/
Intergalactic Gary (Garden), Sync 24 & Aoife O'Neill (Factory)

Electric Garden & Theatre

Is this the biggest party we’ll ever have had in Electric? The answer may be yes. For our sixth birthday celebrations we’ve got a pretty incredible line up across three room of local and international talent.

The Mainfloor:
Moodymann. Needs no introduction does he? The Detroit enigma is a living dance music legend and he’s going to play at our birthday party. Galway moody men Disconauts on support on the mainfloor. Is this really happening?

The Garden:
We’re very pleased to be teaming up with the Epoch brethren to welcome the return of Intergalactic Gary to the club. Having spent over 30 years playing records everywhere from the early squat parties in The Hague, to playing the major European club circuit, this man has done it all. He cohesively weaves from Italo and new wave to the classic sound associated with the Dutch West-Coast pioneered by the likes of Bunker Den Haag, I-F, and of course Gazza himself. He is an unquestionable master of his craft, and we’re delighted to welcome him back after he wowed everyone on his first visit to Galway in 2014. Expect and extended set of party music to fit the mood of the garden.

As with previous years, Epoch will also look after things in Factory with one for the Electro heads in the form of Sync 24 and Aoife ‘O Neill. Sync 24 (Phil Bolland) is an electro artist and DJ, label boss of Cultivated Electronics, and promoter of London based electro night Scand. He has also recorded under the name MMT-8 with Ed DMX, and Signal Type with Matt Whitehead. Phil’s first exposure onto the electro scene as Sync 24 was in 2003 when he had two releases on Andrea Parker’s label Touchin Bass. In 2007 he started his own label Cultivated Electronics which has gone from strength to strength, releasing his own material along with a diverse range of artists such as ERP, DMX Krew, James T Cotton, Radioactive Man, The Exaltics, Morphology, Silicon Scally, and previous Epoch guest, Privacy. Distributed by Clone, the label is now an established underground purveyor pushing the electro sound for over a decade. Sync 24’s production and sets combine dark and moody with the funk. With releases on Electrix, Solar One, C.P.U and his own Cultivated Electronics his music is being championed by respected Dj’s such as Dave Clarke, DJ Stingray and Helena Hauff. His sets are always geared towards getting the party moving.

On support is Munster selector Aoife O’Neill. From small beginnings as a resident in her local bar in Kerry, Aoife O’Neill has now established herself as one of Ireland’s foremost and versatile DJs. With appearances at Electric Picnic and Body & Soul, to Club Nights in Cork, Dublin and Galway as well as her latest residency at ‘Cask’ in Cork city. Her eclectic style has seen her reputation grow countrywide. In addition to DJing, Aoife runs a monthly electronic night called ‘Out of Space’ in Cork city as well as hosting a music show of the same name on Dublin Digital Radio.
